We work with our clients to design, from scratch, a furniture piece that meets their dimension requirements while matching their design aesthetic and style. Each piece of furniture we create is designed and constructed to last for generations. Using the best traditional forms of wood-to-wood joinery and premium hardwoods, we can ensure that your piece will withstand the test of time! What We Do
We always try to source our lumber and slabs from urban mills. These are lumber yards that source trees from urban areas that have fallen or have been taken down due to safety concerns that would otherwise head to the landfill. They correctly care for the wood for years during the drying process to be certain that there will not be any issues with the lumber down the road.
We design every piece with joinery that will withstand he test of time. Our goal for every piece is for it to outlast the time it would take to grow another tree to maturity. This will ensure that we never contribute to the wasteful use of precious hardwoods.
Design With Sustainability In Mind
We are always willing to experiment with new techniques that have piqued the interests of our clients. This matching set of Shou Sugi Ban Mirrors was commissioned by a luxury designer for his personal residence. Shou Sugi Ban is an ancient Japanese technique that involves burning/charring the surface of the wood. If the char is brushed away, it reveals a beautiful distressed look like no other.
